Privacy Policy

Hermes Personal Assistant ("the app") is a private, self-hosted tool used only by its owner, with the owner's own Google accounts. The app has no other users.

Google data the app accesses

With the owner's consent, the app uses these Google APIs: Gmail (read, organize, and send email), Google Calendar, Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Contacts (read-only).

How the data is used

• Only to perform tasks the owner requests: triaging and summarizing email, preparing drafts, managing calendar events, and reading or updating the owner's own documents.
• Actions that send, delete, or share anything require the owner's explicit approval each time.
• Data isn't sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone other than the owner.
• Content may be processed by the AI model provider the owner has configured, solely to complete the owner's requests.

Storage and security

OAuth tokens and any cached data are stored only on the owner's encrypted personal computer. Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The app's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
